Dr San Aung completed her medical degree in 2000 and achieved her Master of Public Health at the University of Queensland in 2003.

She has been practising medicine for over 20 years, including more than 10 years in general practice, and cares for patients across all stages of life.

Dr Aung has worked in different units at Logan Hospital and Greenslopes Hospital, and spent nearly a year as a registrar in palliative care at Gold Coast Hospital.

She began GP training in 2010 and completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. Her clinical interests include geriatric medicine, chronic disease, and preventative medicine.
